Guarantees of Origin (GOs) are Energy Attribute Certificates issued in EU member states to certify that one megawatt-hour (MWh) of electricity was produced from renewable energy sources. GOs support market-based Scope 2 accounting and are used in ESG disclosures, CDP submissions, and RE100 reporting.
